The 3 C’s Rule to a Healthy You!

Calories (noun) – Tiny creatures that live in your closet and sew your clothes a little bit tighter every night.

We have all heard of it and would want to believe it

too. But the fact remains, with age our metabolism slows down and we tend to pile on some (for me more than a few lately) pounds over the years.

Therefore, I am determined to catch those tiny buggers in my closet, because I am not buying a whole new closet!

I am following my 3 C’s golden rule which has always worked for me.

1. Commitment– This is the hardest one to keep! Once you commit there is no going back. Be it clean or a daily workout. It has to be fulfilled regardless of circumstances.

2. Challenge: This one is relatively easy. You keep challenging yourself to reach the goal you have set for yourself. However, you need to be practical and set achievable milestones and a realistic goal. (Don’t forget to treat your self in a ‘balanced manner’ once you reach a particular milestone)

3. Consistency: Personally I feel this is where I need to work the most. I start off on the right foot, start getting healthier and then, I get bored! I want to spice things us (literally and add spice and crave starchy foods) and lose track.
